Floating the Frio!!

We spent 5 days at the Frio this year!!! It was Blakelyns first time to go....it made for a very special trip for me to be able to take her there! She did so good too. She loves the water and loves to swim so tubing was nothing for her!!!

O lordy.... Jimmy and his family all went up in a helicopter for a tour of the country side and O lordy they all came back high fiveing each other ahhhahahha hilarious!!!! I didn't go though!!! NOOOOO WAY!!!





Here are the girls hanging out in a swimming hole that was very close to our cabin and rv spot! It was a beautiful spot!!!!









Here is B in her tube! She was a little natural!! hahahhaha she just went down the rapids while eating her Funyuns ahhahahha





Kaylie brought her little Jeep so the girls rode around the camp sites!!! So dern cute!



In this pic Jimmy was letting Blakelyn hold on to a rope swing.... she thought she was swinging on it like a big girl!!! :)





This was a road that we walked over...the water flows right over the top of it. Blakelyn got in Jimmys lap and went down it. I thought maybe she would be scared but she looked at Jimmy and said, "lets do it again daddy"!!!!! And they did!!!

Frio Update

Well I am stuck in the back bunk bed which is Blakelyns bed.....she is passed out in mine still at 8am on Thursday morning...Jimmy has gone off on a hike. This may be my only peaceful moment today! ahahahhaha Anyway, here are some pics from yesterday evening after we got unpacked. I took a bunch of pics at a really pretty swimming hole right by our RV spot. Not a popular spot though thank goodness. We had it all to ourselves!

My Fave....the Frio!!!

We had quite the adventure to the river today!!!! Everything was going fine until we got to just about New Braunfels..... and POP....FLAT TIRE on the travel trailer! Geeez so that put us off of I10 into New Braunfels at the Discount Tire on 35. Once inside the told us of the hour and fourty five minute wait....NO TIME FOR THAT! Jimmy slipped a guy in the shop a little cash and on our NEW tire went! Yeah for Jimmy!

We got to our RV spot and got the trailer on our spot and unpacked some.... Then aaaahhhhhhh into the river we go! Pics will post tomorrow at some point!

Port Aransas with the Tipps!!!!

Blakelyn and I spent a much needed 4 days together in Port Aransas. We went to visit our cousins that moved there recently. We stayed at their new house which is awesome!!!! We had a blast and we cant wait to go back!!!

Wednesday morning we went to the Marine Institute on the island to see their museum of things! This is a pic of a baby whale skull. HUGE!!!!



One of the other days there we played on the playground near their house! And yes...the adults played too!!! Have I ever mentioned my MOMS side of the family???? hahahhahah

Blue Bell Aquatic in Brenham!!

We went to the waterpark in Brenham with Blakelyn's little friend Brooklynn!!! aka Brook Brook! We had a blast. The water felt WONDERFUL!!!! Cant wait to go back!

The beginning of our July 2010!

We got to the lake Thursday afternoon we hung out at my parents lake house and at the travel trailer by the water... B got on the 4 wheeler with my Dad and LOVEDDDD it. She cried like crazy when she had to get off!!!



Jimmy and Blakelyn have these little head lights that they wore at the camp site in the dark...they walked around our camp with little lights shining. Pretty cute!!! It looked our camp had fire flies ahhahahhaa



At the lake.... We had a great time with our friends Dale Mae, Dean and Maddy!!! They went out on the boat with us on Saturday and Wake Surfed with Jimmy!!! They all did really good!!! Sooooo jealous!

Needless to say....Libraries aren't quiet anymore! O and the long skinny things hanging from their shirts are snakes that they colored at story time!!! Lol

Pretty funny.... every single time Blakelyn gets in the boat she falls asleep. So every single time we get into the boat we have to make her a little bed hahahahha





Also, this weekend Jimmy mastered WAKE SURFING behind our boat.... Look ma no rope!

My Mom and Doral left on Friday for Port Aransas to spend some time with Mandy, Robert and the kids. They had a ball swimming, shopping and playing on the beach!!!
